Elevate and Protect Your Vehicle With a Ceramic Coating
Some of you may be asking yourself, "What is a ceramic coating?"
Essentially, ceramic coatings provide an unparalleled level of protection against various environmental elements, including UV rays (which cause oxidation), brake dust, iron fallout, water spots, tree sap, and insect residue. They also provide superior self-cleaning properties, helping maintain a pristine finish with minimal effort.
By forming a durable, transparent layer over the vehicle's paint, the ceramic coating acts as a shield, safeguarding the surface from scratches, swirl marks, and fading, thereby preserving the cars pristine appearance for years to come.
Additionally, ceramic coatings offer hydrophobic properties, repelling water and dirt, making maintenance easier and ensuring a consistently glossy finish. Beyond protection, ceramic coatings enhance the depth and clarity of the paint, intensifying its shine and enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of the vehicle.
Ultimately, the long-term benefits of ceramic coating outweigh the initial investment, providing superior protection, easier maintenance, and a stunning finish that elevates the appearance and value of your vehicle!
The Ceramic Coating Process
Before the ceramic coating is installed, your vehicle must be properly cleaned, prepped and corrected. If the coating is applied without doing the proper steps, then you won't be able to get all of the benefits from the coating. Once those steps are complete, we then apply the ceramic coating. When applying a coating to your vehicle, we follow a meticulous process to ensure the best protection and finish.

1. Clean
Before we apply a ceramic coating to your vehicle, we take great care to ensure your paint is perfectly clean and ready for protection. First, we perform a thorough hand wash using an acidic car shampoo to remove all dirt, grime, and old waxes or sealants.

4. Apply
First, we carefully shake the coating bottle and apply a generous amount to a special applicator, working on small sections of your car at a time for even coverage. We use a precise cross-hatch pattern to lay down a uniform layer, making sure every inch is protected. After a short period, we gently wipe away any excess product with high-quality microfiber towels, leaving behind a flawless, glossy surface.

2. Decontaminate
After the wash, we use iron remover and a clay bar to safely lift away any contaminants that are stuck in your vehicle's clear coat, leaving your paint silky smooth

5. Cure
Gyeon ceramic coatings initially dry within 12 to 24 hours, during which the surface becomes touch-dry and can be driven. However, the full curing process takes about 7 to 14 days, during which the coating chemically bonds and hardens to provide maximum protection and durability.

3. Prep
After the paint is cleaned and decontaminated, we then get rid of majority of the scratches and swirls in your vehicle's paint with a 1-step paint correction (2-step correction is an *Add-On* service).

6. Maintenance
After the coating is applied, avoid washing your car with harsh chemicals or any detergents for the first 14 days. Use a pH-neutral car wash soap during regular washes to maintain the coating’s hydrophobic and glossy properties. Clean your vehicle every 2 weeks or every 650 miles, ensuring that contaminants like bird droppings are removed promptly and never allowed to sit on the surface. For the best durability, schedule a professional maintenance service with us, every 24 months or 25,000 kilometers.

Our Coatings
At A+ Auto Detailing, we offer two premium ceramic coating options to suit your needs. GYEON Q² Flash EVO is our professional-grade, long-term coating designed for maximum durability and gloss, with protection lasting up to 10 years (under warranty) — ideal for vehicles, equipment, and farm machinery exposed to harsh conditions. For a more budget-friendly option, GYEON Q² CanCoat EVO provides up to 12 months of sleek, hydrophobic protection with quick application and high visual impact, making it perfect for those looking to refresh and protect their investment with minimal downtime.
GYEON Q² CanCoat EVO
Q² CanCoat EVO is our short term ceramic coating. If properly maintained, this coating can last up to 12 months. This coating offers durable performance, improved visual enhancement, and hydrophobic properties, just like the Q² Flash EVO. The only difference is, this coating doesn't last nearly as long.

GYEON Q² Flash EVO
Introducing our long term coating, GYEON Q² Flash EVO, a cutting-edge ceramic coating designed exclusively for Certified Mobile Detailers, like ourselves. This advanced coating delivers exceptional hydrophobic and self-cleaning properties, along with long-lasting protection against harsh chemicals and UV rays. With Q² Flash EVO, your vehicle gets professional-grade defense and a brilliant finish—anytime, anywhere.
This coating can last up to 10 years with proper maintenance. To achieve this extended lifespan, we apply an annual “top-up” coating after the initial application, which helps maintain its hydrophobic, self-cleaning properties and the professional-grade protection you expect. Without the yearly top-ups—but with regular washing and care—you can still expect reliable performance for up to 3 years.
